We could not deby the fact especially in farmville that there are cheats because players will always have asome tendency to play it in a short cut way without going through the usual process. Zynga should look into this especially on Farm Cash issue which is the lifeblood of Farmville. Anyway, as long as you play fair there's no problem to that

I think we all know the answer to this – there is only one way that these games are going and that is to maximise revenue rather than enhance gameplay and/or enjoyment

Zygna is an exciting game for me at first but later on it gets boring because it'd just the same, you will be following the same game routine as you go on.

The question will be, when it comes to tuning Brian Reynold’s Facebook game, will the guiding principle be increasing Zygna’s revenue or making the game more fulfilling?

I can't get my head around all this Facebook stuff. I mean I understand it but don't much care for it. My wife & kids always use it but not me. I see where it is useful but I think wen have gotten way to dependent on social media.People can't communicate well face to face anymore. As far as things like farm ville, well that is a ridiculous waste of time. I would rather play drop a brick on my head. :)

Facebook games provides entertainment with the need to interact with friends. I got addicted to Cityville and I suddenly realized that I am communicating with my friends more than before. I always ask them to give me gifts and approve my requests and sometimes the conversation turns to long chat.

Believe it or not, I'm still hooked on the original Sim City. I still have my "386" out that I play it on since the pentiums are too fast. Sometimes the originals will never die!

As Dave Nierman says above "As an outside recipient to Farmville request from my friends, I can truly say this is one of the most annoying things that happens on Facebook".. So true!! Farmville and those type of games are fun only for a small group of people but they inflict them all on us.T

I like the way Linked In is not full of junk like Facebook is, the only downside is it is full of my business associates!

As an outside recipient to Farmville request from my friends, I can truly say this is one of the most annoying things that happens on Facebook. Maybe Facebook can offer its members a way to block Farmville requests for a slight fee. Just an idea.
